God is not abstract. His presence is real and in praying, [if Born Again], we must believe that He is in us, and in close proximity to us. We underestimate the power in the command to love God and love our Neighbour.

With many records of answered prayers, I have reached a place of intimacy that does not leave me blaming God if I have an unanswered prayer, but leads me to check myself to find where I might have a fault that needs my attention: and seek forgiveness.

Our love for the Father, like His love for us must be without wavering. We are not perfect, but the Holy Spirit guides and helps us. Our obedience to His command is the sign that we love Him and seek His presence daily. Love for Him means we desire His glory.

Jesus gave an example of an earthly father who will not give his child a snake if asked for fish or stone if asked for bread. How much more our Heavenly Father who owns all things and in whom all things are possible, not release whatever we ask or need if according to His will and purpose. He will not give us something when He knows it is harmful or will not fulfil His purpose for our lives.

Therefore, this Book has broken down the LORD'S prayer through many Scriptures both Old and New Testaments, examined what God's will for us looks like, and how seeking His will draws us to a relationship of fulfilment and answered prayers. That relationship through the Holy Spirit helps us hear His voice.

Prayer involves more than our words, it involves the state of our hearts and the motive for asking.

The prayer of a righteous person avails much [James 5: 16], and our righteousness is in our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
